Short Bio
Roei Bachar, a PhD student at the University of Milano-Bicocca, wrote his Graduate thesis about the sociological design of the game of basketball, considering its gendered and multicultural implications. Roei came to Lisbon to work with Prof. Sandra Marques-Pereira, as part of a multi-national project for his doctoral thesis. The research explores the fashion in which Airbnb changes the domestic space and the use of it, in a semi-comparative study on Milan, Jerusalem, and Lisbon, using qualitative and visual methods.
