Marta Calleja Duque graduated in Social Work from the University of Valladolid (UVa), with the Extraordinary End of Degree Award. She holds an Official Master's Degree in Research and Intervention in Social Work from the University of Huelva (UHU), with the Extraordinary Prize for the Best Record. She is currently a lecturer and pre-doctoral researcher in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Valladolid, where she is developing her doctoral thesis ‘Social indicators for a just transition towards low-carbon societies’, within the PhD Programme in Transdisciplinary Research in Education. She is also a member of the recognised research group in applied social sciences at the University of Valladolid and a regular collaborator of the Recognised Research Group in Energy, Economics and System Dynamics, with whom she has worked on several European projects. She is also a member of the Ibero-American Research Network on Socio-environmental Conflicts and Gender Justice.
