Ana Flávia Machado
Full Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, holds a degree in Economics (1985) and a Master's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1993) and a PhD in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2000). She is a researcher in Cultural Economics, working mainly on the following topics: creative economy, creative cities, cultural consumption, artists' labor market and museum economy. Between 2010 and 2014, she held the position of Editor of the journal Nova Economia, Department of Economic at UFMG. From August 2015 to March 2018, she held the position of Scientific-Cultural Director of the UFMG Knowledge Space Museum. From March 2018 to December 2020, she was the Director of Institutional Cooperation at UFMG. Researcher at CNPq in productivity since 2004, she is leader of the Economics of Culture Research Group, registered at CNPq and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Association for Cultural Economics International (ACEI) since 2019. She has almost 60 papers published in national and international journals.
