Short Bio

Evaldo Costa is an interdisciplinary fellow researcher. His background includes a Ph.D. in Business Economics of Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium, a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies of NOVA School of Science and Technology of New University of Lisbon, Portugal, and a master’s degree in Business and Management of Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Brazil. His research includes environmental science (business, policy, and management) and engineering science (inventory of CO2 emissions, energy balance, and electric mobility and its infrastructure). Currently, his research is focused on decarbonization strategies for the transition to a sustainable energy system. He is interested in innovation processes for the decarbonization of the economy sectors. He has a solid experience in academic and business fields. Before, his academic career, he worked several years as an automotive industry consultant and professor.
