Short Bio

She is an Integrated Ph.D. Researcher at DINAMIA'CET, ISCTE (Research Group Cities and Territories), collaborating in projects such as the Strategic Plan for Culture in Oeiras Municipality; ARTEMREDE Impact Assessment Study; CREATOUR "Creative Tourism Destination Development in Small Cities and Rural Areas"; or 4H-CREAT "Quadruple Helix to stimulate innovation in the Atlantic Cultural & Creative SMEs". She is member of the international network COST Action CA18214 “The Geography of New Working Spaces and the Impact on the Periphery”.

She holds a PhD in Sociology at School of Sociology and Public Policy - ISCTE-IUL (funded by FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology). She participated in the COST ACTION IS 1007 “Investigating Cultural Sustainability” studying policies and strategic plans in the area of culture and sustainable development in different European cities.

At the same time, she collaborated with INTELI (a center of innovation in Lisbon) on several local and European projects in planning and development field related to creativity, culture and innovation policies.

She has a Master in Communication Sciences (Faculty of Human Sciences, Portuguese Catholic University) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design (Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon).
