Short Bio

Daniela Silva is an architect, researcher, and writer with a distinctly multifaceted and international career, having practiced in France, Japan, Italy, and China. Currently, she divides her professional activity between practice in an architecture studio in Lisbon and pursuing a Ph.D. in the area of Digital Architecture at ISCTE. In addition, she is a curator and researcher for the online platform Non Architecture. She also writes for various international magazines on architecture and design, such as CLOT Magazine, Architecture Hunter, among others. She has been an invited critic, lecturer, guest professor, and jury member at different architecture schools like Berlin International University of Applied Sciences, University of Kingston, and Shandong Jianzhu University. She is also a jury member for international architecture and design awards such as Architizer's A+Awards, UNI, and A'Design Award and Competition.
