Amarílis Felizes is currently a PhD candidate in Political Economy focusing on the arts policy in Portugal.

She holds tow Bachelor's degrees, one in Economics, from FEP and another in Theater from ESMAE-IPP and a Master's degree in Economics and Public Policies from ISEG-UL. She worked as theater producer and as a road manager in several projects.
