Short Bio
Architect, PhD - Architecture and Urbanism (ISCTE-IUL). Assistant Professor, Department of Architecture and Urbanism (ISCTE-IUL) and researcher in DINÂMIA-CET. Received (1989) the Prizes Valmor and Municipal Architecture in co-authorship. Coordinated recently a study focused on the evaluation of social housing buildings (Marvila - 1500 units). Published 6 articles in scientific journals (4 indexed; 1 web science), 3 book chapters and 17 papers in proceedings events. Participated in 15 scientific meetings. Currently supervising two PhD Thesis (one in coorientation), two Master's Dissertation, teaches laboratory practices in the Master of Architecture and collaborates in Urban Studies PhD (U.Nova/ISCTE-IUL). Elected (2014) in the order of Architects, trainee provider.

The Scientific Project relies on the possibility of resuming the materials produced after the conclusion of the doctoral program on the subject of housing and its urban context, from different aspects such as: urban space and housing, housing typologies and access, functions and housing programs , housing and urban design, among others, in order to deepen and innovate its content with the objective of producing, essentially, scientific material (scientific articles, conference proceedings, etc.), pedagogical in nature to UCs) and knowledge transfer.
