Doctor in History by the Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas and Master in Information and Documentation Sciences by the same faculty. Works in the area(s) of Humanities with emphasis on History and Archival Science. Research interests in the 19th Century divided among Archival Science, Press History and History of Colonial Africa.

Coast to Coast - Late Infrastructure Development in the Former Portuguese Inland Africa (Angola and Mozambique): Historical Analysis and Postcolonial Evaluation", reference PTDC / ATPAQI / 0742/2014 and financed by national funds through FCT / MCTES ( PIDDAC).
