Short Bio

Graduated in Architecture (FAUL,1998) and student at École D’Architecture, Paris La Villette, Sorbonne VII (1997). Master in Urban Design (ISCTE-IUL, 2007). PhD student in Architecture (FAUL) thesis “Architecture Exhibition: from reality to representation”. FCT scholarship (since 2015). Senior Architect at Pedra Silva Architects (2013-2016). Partner at “Sérgio Fazenda Rodrigues+ Rita Cruz Dourado, architects”, expert in museography projects (1999-2014); selected for “Habitar Portugal 06-08”. Trainee Architect at Santiago Calatrava Valls (Paris, 1997) and Vítor Figueiredo (Lisbon, 1997-1999), Architect at Carlos Marques da Costa (Lisbon, 1999-2004), José Simões Neves (Lisbon, 1999-2000) and Luís Almeida e Sousa (Azores, 2007-2011). Curator and consultant in exhibition architecture for the Azorean Government. Several museography projects in the Azores, Lisbon, Madrid and Brussels. Invited Teacher at FAUL (Architecture and Project, Lisbon, 2000-2004). Invited Teacher at Azores University (Construction and Building Systems, Azores, 2008). Teacher at the Technical Course “Building Systems” (São Miguel, Azores, 2008). Curator for “Cinema, City and Architecture” (2007) and “The City in the Cinema” (2009), at the Public Library, Ponta Delgada (São Miguel, Azores). Councilwoman at the Ponta Delgada City Hall (2009-2013). Curator of "Habitar Portugal 09_11", a selection of the best works of architecture built between 2009 - 2011 by Portuguese Architects with Susana Ventura, Maria Rita Pais. Curatorial Assistant for the portuguese film exhibition at Cineceará Film Festival 2013. Vogal do Conselho Regional de Admissão at Ordem dos Arquitectos (2014-2016).
