Short Bio
Graduated in 2011 in Architecture and Urbanism from the Izabela Hendrix Methodist Institute in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In 2012,s he participated in the international architecture competition "Campus Cabral - UFPR" with the Portuguese architect Paulo Pontes. Master in Management and Cultural Studies - Entertainment and Creative Industries - taken in 2015 at ISCTEIUL. Elaborated several projects to raise funds for social and cultural programs in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and in 2016 took the course of Elaboration and Analysis of Projects of Agreements, in the Orzil Group in Brasilia. PhD student in Architecture of Contemporary Metropolitan Territories, at ISCTE-IUL.

The occupations of urban space produce culturally significant practices and incorporate processes of identity construction of the community and the city, where groups try to re-signify the urban space to make it a place of interrelationships. With these considerations, the researcher raises questions beyond civic and cultural issues, raising questions about the relationship between the urban structure and the social dynamics of protests, seeking to identify and understand which are the main public spaces in the political-social history of the city of Lisbon, as well as verifying the reasons why these spaces have become so significant for the constant occurrence of protest demonstrations in them.
