Short Bio

Gonçalo Rodrigues Brás is a Portuguese economist with a PhD in Business Management from Faculty of Economics - University of Coimbra.

Since 2006, he has been working as a guest professor or as a research fellow in several Portuguese higher education institutions. For almost a year and a half (2014/2015), he worked abroad as visiting researcher/scholar at a number of European universities, mainly in projects related to entrepreneurship, economic development, innovation processes or strategic management.

He previously worked in consultancy, banking and accounting.

His current research interests include strategic management, public administration. public policy, innovation systems, and sustainable development.

Open to projects where public policy supporting innovation that funds both public and private institutions is beneficial if it strives to benefit society as a whole and not only business and commerce.
