ELECTRIC LANDSCAPES
The project began from two main concerns.
The first one is the need to know and record one of the key infrastructures that enable and sustain our current way of life, work and entertainment, but of which paradoxically we have few images or records available. Our absolute dependence on images as a source of information, references or even as a new paradigm where they are stronger than the words*, is almost as proportional to our ignorance about where one of the main sources that supports its diffusion gear in the digital age comes from.
The second has relation with the modification of the territory and the ancestral dichotomy between country and city; between the built and the organic; the indomitable and the controlled. It is in this limit where a strong and ambiguous relationship is established at the same time**, understood as a geographical construction, where the man-made transformations blends with the natural features of a place.
