I have a PhD in Philosophy of Nature and Environmental Philosophy (2015) by the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. He was granted a doctoral scholarship by FCT - Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (2011-2015. In 2019, the publication of a book chapter (Paris in the 20th Century, Lisbon in the 21st Century or the Monotonization of the World: The Idea of City in the Anthropocene) on a Jules Verne¿s posthumously published novel (Paris in the Twentieth Century) made me embrace a new research project focusing on the cultural changes ocurred on both city's idea and on its cultural spaces in the last 100 years. My research interests shifted to Philosophy of Culture and History and Philosophy of the City, and since then have been entirely devoted to 20th century and 21st century Paris and New York Cultural and Intellectual History and to the relationship between current humanities decline and reality's technological digitalization in the context of disruptive historical transformations contemporarily ocurring in both the idea of city and its cultural physical landscape.
