The identification of the new social recomposition dynamics, spatial enhancement and urban revitalization taking place in the city of Lisbon constitute the main focus of this project, whose observation and comparative parameterization is based on four case-studies - Príncipe Real and Santa Catarina in a more traditional and central urban context, Telheiras and Parque das Nações in a more contemporary and "marginal" context regarding the geography of the city. These case-studies were selected in accordance with residential choices, identity and spatial representations, as well as the negotiation of a set of values assigned to the city in general, and to these residential places in particular. In the scope of the most recent changes affecting the Lisbon daily life, the reputation-building mechanisms and the effects of touristification and financialisation of the city are also contemplated.
