The Observatory will disseminate its results through various channels, including academic publications, conferences, workshops, and an online platform that will ensure widespread accessibility and impact. Additionally, active engagement with the media, public awareness campaigns, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders will further amplify the reach and influence of its outcomes. Among all measures, we stand out:

  • the proposal for integration of gender-sensitive topics in the studied architecture school’s syllabuses based on the Observatory's findings;
  • the preparation of training programs for educators and students to promote gender inclusivity in architectural education;
  • the support or organisation of public events or campaigns focused on the topics of the Observatory.

To this end, a dedicated website will incorporate comprehensive data, reports, and relevant resources that will be easily accessible to the public. Press releases will be disseminated to mainstream media (press or online news channels, radio, and television) to attract public attention and highlight the importance of the Observatory's conclusions. The Observatory’s members and consultants will engage with journalists for interviews and contribute with opinion pieces to the press. Platforms like X (former Twitter), LinkedIn, and Instagram will be used to share outcomes and infographics. Webinars will be hosted to discuss the Observatory’s workflow and connect with a broader (online) audience.

This Observatory will collaborate with other similar organisations or research projects working in gender studies, architecture, or education. Within this collaboration, the team will personally:

  • present research findings at conferences and other events attended by professionals, educators, and researchers in the field of architecture and/or gender studies;
  • submit articles to peer-reviewed academic journals contributing to the academic discourse on gender dynamics in architectural education;
  • publish detailed reports on the website summarising key figures;
  • organize workshops involving the chosen educational institutions to discuss results and potential implementations.

Following on from this last point, a presential International Seminar will be held to take stock of the work carried out in dialogue with other research groups of the same nature in order to study its applicability.

ETHICAL REMARKS

Dissemination of results will also imply ethical considerations. Informed consents, confidentiality, and participant well-being will be prioritized throughout the process.
