Degree in Architecture. Received his PhD from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon with a thesis titled "Contributions to Conservation, Restoration and Rehabilitation planning. A documentary methodology based on terrestrial digital photogrammetry and 3D laser scanning ". He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FAUL) in the areas of Geometry, Computing and Conservation. He is responsible for the 3D Scanning Laboratory of FAUL / CIAUD, and in this context, participated and coordinated several architectural surveys, in the scope of protocols and collaboration projects between the Faculty of Architecture and several external entities, notably the survey of the Arch of Rua Augusta , the Belém Palace, the Pegões aqueduct, and the Mafra Palace. He belongs to the research group ArcHC_3D of the Center for Research in Architecture, Urbanism and Design (CIAUD) where he develops research related to the production of graphic documentation of architecture, in particular in the context of Conservation and Restoration, through the use of laser scanning and photogrammetry.

Stefano Bertocci was born in Florence in April 29th, 1957; he graduated in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Florence in 1984. Teaching activities at the School of Archaeology of the University of Florence, as professor of Drawing and Surveying (academic year 1999 - 2000) and professor of Surveying (academic year 2000 – 2001 until 2007 - 2008). Associate Professor, H11X area- Drawing. In 2002 (1/11/2002) he started to work at the University of Florence, Department of Design and Architecture, course of Survey of Architecture, five-years degree in EU Architecture, and coordenator of several international research projects.

Soraya Genin (1965) is graduated in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon (1990), has a Master degree in Science in Architecture, Specialization Conservation of Historic Towns and Buildings (1995) and a Ph.D. in Engineering (2014) by the Faculty of Engineering at the KU Leuven.

Assistant Professor in ISCTE-Lisbon University Institute and researcher at ISTAR -IUL, where she teaches Architectural Technology and Architectural Conservation since 2002. Actualy she teaches and supervise thesis in the Integrated Master of Architecture and Urbanism and PHD course.

President of the Executive Board of the Portuguese National Committee of ICOMOS, the International Council on Monuments and Sites. Portuguese delegate member of the International Scientific Committee for Stone (ISCS) and the International Scientific Committee on Theory and Philosophy of Conservation and Restoration (THEOPHILOS).

Soraya Genin coordinated diverse Architecture and Conservation projects, developed in her studio, established in 1999, in particular World Heritage Monuments such the Jerónimos monastery church and the Belém Tower in Lisbon, the Convent of Christ in Tomar, and Queluz Palace.

She authored several publications, especially on Conservation and Constructions in stone. One of her main research interest is the conception and construction of ribbed vaults, mainly the geometric analysis and architectural design. Her PHD dissertation include the analysis of almost 1000 religious buildings in Portugal, France, England, Spain and Central Europe.

Pedro Sebastião, Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at IST, currently lecturer at ISCTE-IUL's Information Science and Technology Department, is Board director of AUDAX-ISCTE - Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at ISCTE, responsible for the LABSLISBOA incubator and researcher at Institute of Telecommunications. His main researching interests are in monitoring, control and communications of drones, unmanned vehicles, planning tools, stochastic process (modeling and efficient simmulations), IoT, efficient communication systems.

He has oriented several master's dissertations and doctoral theses. He is the author or co-author of more than two hundred scientific articles and he has been responsible for several national and international R&D projects. He has been an expert and evaluator of more than one hundred national and international Civil and Defense R&D projects. He has several scientific, engineering and pedagogical awards. Also, he has organized more than fifty national and international scientific conferences. He planned and developed several postgraduate courses in technologies and management, entrepreneurship and innovation and transfer of technology and innovation. He has supported and oriented several projects involving technology transfer and creation of start-ups and spinoffs.

He developed his professional activity in the National Defense Industries, initially in the Office of Studies and later as board director of the Quality Department of the Production of New Products and Technologies. He was also responsible for systems of communications technology in the Nokia-Siemens business area.
